Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Berbasis Potensi Desa melalui Penguatan Inisiatif Sosial, Ekonomi, dan Lingkungan

Abstract
This community engagement program aimed to assist the community of Indrajaya Village, Sukaratu District, Tasikmalaya Regency, in developing development initiatives based on local social, economic, and environmental potential. The program employed a participatory and collaborative approach involving the village government, local community leaders, community groups, UMKM, village economic institutions, educational institutions, and relevant stakeholders. The activities included potential mapping, problem identification, initiative planning, community capacity building, mentoring, network strengthening, and evaluation. The results indicated the development of three main initiatives: GASOLIN for environmental and waste management, KAMWIPANG for strengthening local economic potential and UMKM, and Desa Intan for improving community disaster preparedness. The program also contributed to strengthening local community leadership, increasing student participation in disaster preparedness activities, improving BUMDes administration and business management, facilitating business legality, enhancing marketing capacity, and expanding market networks. Overall, the program strengthened community participation and collaboration and contributed to improvements in village development status based on the Village Development Index (IDM). These results demonstrate that community empowerment based on local potential and local leadership can support village self-reliance and sustainable development.
